East Michigan Council of Governments
Board Members
Each member government is entitled to appoint two (2) COG voting representatives from its governing body. These voting representatives make up the Council, which is the policy making body for all activities undertaken including program activities and decisions, regional plans, and fiscal and budgetary policies.
The Executive Board is composed of the five (5) annually elected officers. Their function is to set fiscal, budgetary and staffing policies. The Board is supported by technical, study, and policy development committees and a professional staff headed by Sue Fortune, Executive Director.
