Otisville
The Village of Otisville is a village in Forest Township, Genesee County, Michigan. The population was 864 at the 2010 census. It is located along M-15 Heritage Route Byway, just south of M-57.
Otisville offers its residents the quaint charm of small town living in today's hurried environment. Commuters enjoy easy access to major interstates leading to Metro Flint and surrounding counties.
The area’s many lakes offer family camping experiences. One of the more unusual camping experiences is at Covenant Hills Camp that also houses a retreat and conference center. Their RV campground offers five miles of ORV/hiking trails and access to their lake. Only a half a mile from M-15 Heritage Route Byway, it is open to the public.
Otisville offers several different types of recreational experiences; all close by. These include but are not limited to a large U-pick blueberry farm with a lovely picnic area. Outside of town is located the AKC approved Great Lakes Beagle Club, where multi-state hunting field trials are held several times a year.

Otter Lake
The Village of Otter Lake is a small village, which lies half in Marathon Township ,Lapeer County and half in Forest Township in Genesee County. The population was 389 at the 2010 census. The village is named after the nearby body of water which had numerous otters.
Founded in 1873, the village has a rich history waiting to be explored. Visit the to see artifacts and learn about Otter Lakes’ heritage. The museum is located inside the old fire station near the lake.
Otter Lake is located just south of the Tuscola/Genesee County border and four miles east of M-15 is the community of Otter Lake. On the eastern edge of the small community is nestled Otter Lake Campground which also is home to the area’s farmers’ market. Adjacent to the park is the community’s historic museum.
Southern Links Trail
Also located in Otter Lake is the trailhead for the Southern Links Trail which offers hiking, biking and equestrian enthusiasts miles of fun. The Southern Links Trail runs north back up to Millington and south east to Columbiaville.
