Agencies applying for CDBG funds through Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) are required to have a Certified Grant Administrator (CGA) to administer future CDBG projects. EMCOG has two staff members that are CGAs. Jane Fitzpatrick and Bill Ernat have taken the required classes have been qualified to administer Community Development Block Grants that are available through MEDC.
